Actually, we were getting a lot of spam forum posts lately, which made our forum polluted and also impacted our SEO ranking because of these spam posts. Although we are using tools and plugins to prevent this, still some get through. So we were forced to implement the moderation. We are working on some better ways to deal with this.

As per my knowledge, theme generally is not responsible for the user’s data storage. Anything that deals with users data storage need to be GDPR compliant. Themes are just a design so I don’t think theme needs to be ready for GDPR. If theme is handling user’s data, which in our case, is not we think you shouldn’t worry.
However, if you are using registration form, contact forms, comments on your site then you need to think of GDPR compliance. Registration and comments are handled by core so WordPress core team is working on this. You can follow on this here https://make.wordpress.org/core/tag/gdpr-compliance/
If you are using contact forms then you can contact the respective author of the contact form to see if they are working on the GDPR thing.

We did the test in our local and it is working fine on our side. Sometime before activating the theme and just looking at the preview seems to be messed up, but when you actually activate the pro theme and look at the live site instead of WP customizer preview it should look all fine.
In very rare cases, there could be few widgets gone here and there but that can be fixed by simple drag and drop to appropriate sidebars. You can go ahead and activate the pro theme and if the things don’t look as it should then you can simply activate the free theme again and your site will be back to what it looked previously.

Sometimes our payment processor takes some time to verify the payment so in that case the orders are kept on hold. Currently, this feature is only available in our Pro version. You can select either between 1 to 4 column as per your wish in pro version.

The api key issue and the plugin unable to be installed is, however, a different issue.
PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record
This issue is generally caused by plugin zip file being corrupt. Please try to download the fresh copy and see if that works
You should be able to fix that from Appearance->Menus->Manage Locations and in the Dropdown corresponding to Footer do not select any menu and save it.

I hope the license key issue will not be a problem once you set your site live. We are not exactly sure but redirection of link will cause issue on license verification. If you have issue with key in your live site as well then do let us know.
Regarding the customizer not loading issue, either you are using older version of WordPress or any other plugin is creating conflict with the theme. Deactivating plugins should fix this and you can find which plugin is creating the conflict.
