    I’m working with this theme to test and the GR (Goodreads) Progress theme is white. With Spacious’s free default setup, the footer areas are dark gray which triggers a white font in the widget and makes it white font on a white background.

    I’m going to contact the widget support as well, but am wondering if there is any CSS I can place for the theme to change the color in this specific widget to provide better contrast.

    Hi @dweade,

    You can choose the style and color of the footer by going to Appearance > Customize > Footer > Footer Design and select the style between the two.
    If you want to change the footer color, you can add the additional CSS by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and insert the below-mentioned code.

    .spacious-footer-style-two .footer-socket-wrapper{
        background-color: #D3D3D3;

    If the issue still persists, can you please provide us URL to your site so that we can inspect it and give you a proper solution?
