    Hi,

    I have made my homepage show the content after adjust the code

    If I use either no sidebar or both sidebar the tg services widget show 3 boxes properly.

    But if either left or right sidebar, the first box will align on top right over the other 2

    I have tried different methods and used custom css also unable to adjust the alignment

    Home

    I need to align it as what it should and not affected by sidebar

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @wongjl
    So, if you’re using Left/Right sidebar layout, the service widget box alignment breaks. While checking your site, it seems you’re using Right sidebar layout and the section seems fine. Also, testing on local from here, I got no issue like that. Can you explain in detail your issue if I misunderstood?

    Hi @Ashish

    I tested with other browser it looks fine, but it was problem in opera

    however, when I logged in using any browser it breaks

    And if I write a long post, it breaks the widget as well

    Thanks.

    Where did you add the Service widget? While checking your site, it seems either you’ve added via plugin or custom code. So, can you try adding the same widget in proper Sidebar from Appearance > Widget. I hope doing so would resolve your issue. Let us know if not. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks.

    I added the TG Services widget in the widget menu as normal
    But I have modified the page-templates/business.php to show the content

    	   <!-- #special added -->
       	<div id="primary">
       		<div id="content" class="clearfix">
       			<?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>

       				<?php get_template_part( 'content', 'page' ); ?>

       				<?php
       					do_action( 'explore_before_comments_template' );
       					// If comments are open or we have at least one comment, load up the comment template
       					if ( comments_open() || '0' != get_comments_number() )
       						comments_template();
       	      		do_action ( 'explore_after_comments_template' );
       				?>

       			<?php endwhile; ?>

       		</div><!-- #content -->

             <?php
             $layout = explore_sidebar_layout();
             if ( $layout == "both_sidebar" ) {
                get_sidebar( 'left' );
             }
             ?>
       	</div><!-- #primary -->

       	<?php
          if ( $layout != "no_sidebar_full_width" &&  $layout != "no_sidebar_content_centered" ) {
             get_sidebar();
          }
          ?>
    <!-- #special added -->

    I want my homepage to show some content together with service widget, so I added those code (copy paste from single post)

    If I use left & right sidebar then service widget show nicely
    Else it broke…

    I need help to make service widget show nicely regardless the content length and/or sidebar

    Thanks.

    Hi @wongjl

    Please create a child theme and change themeโ€™s template to modify/add theme’s feature. Take a reference from this article:

    Tutorial on Creating WordPress Child Theme

    And, create page-templates/business.php file on your child theme just as our theme add your code after <?php do_action( 'explore_after_body_content' ); ?> inside the same file.

    If this doesn’t work, provide us the code that you want to add.

    finally i resolved it
    my solution:

    add div tag

    <div id="tg-service">

          <?php if (is_active_sidebar('explore_business_page_sidebar')) {
             dynamic_sidebar('explore_business_page_sidebar');
          } ?>

          <?php do_action( 'explore_after_body_content' ); ?>
    	   </div>

    then css add this line:

    #tg-service {
    	clear: both;
    }

    it works now

    thanks for the child theme

    You can search for it on Search Engine or look for a plugin in WordPress plugin repository. You might get one.

    @wongjl
    You can add following CSS:

    #featured-wide-slider .bx-viewport {
        max-height: 768px;
    }

    Hi Ashish,

    Thanks, it works
    But it doesn’t work in child theme css
    It works only in custom css (Customizing > Additional CSS)
    Any idea how to make it works in child theme css?
    Thanks

    @wongjl,

    you can add !important on css as follows.

    #featured-wide-slider .bx-viewport {
        max-height: 768px !important;
    }
