    I am having difficulty displaying the About Widget properly.

    Is it possible to centre the image and either show just the description placed in the widget or not show the description but show all the content from the about page?

    I’d also like to remove the Read More button.

    The alternative would be to use the TG Team widget but we wouldn’t need the image to ‘flip’.

    Thank you!

    Hi helena,

    It requires a lot of code customization work and is not possible through the forum hope you understand.
    And if you really want to make these changes then you can contact to our customization team.

    Thanks!

    Many thanks for your reply – is there anyway (like on the demo) that we can display more content from the about page and remove “read more’?

    Hi helena,

    Yes, please paste the required content in excerpt box of particular page which you want to display in about section.
    To remove the button please go to the option Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS and paste the CSS code below:

    .about-content-wrapper .about-btn {
        display: none;
    }

    Many thanks Nima – that is what I thought but none of our pages have an excerpt box!

    The code below removes the ‘read more’ button but also the button next to it.

    .about-btn {
        display: none;
    }

    Is there also a code which only removes the ‘read more’ button but leaves the other button on the website?

    Thanking you in advance!

    Hello, @nedboone

    Remove that code and add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    .about-btn a:first-child {
        display: none;
    }

    If you get any issue later, feel free to ask again! We would really appreciate if you could provide us a review here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/himalayas/reviews/?filter=5
