    Hi, Helen.

    You can paste those code in the ‘style.css’ file of the child theme. Here is the link on creating the child theme in order to assist you:-

    Thank you. I’ve pasted the code into the main stylesheet for now and can create the child theme later, but it still has made no difference. Sorry to keep requesting help but the client is definite about wanting the navy blue banner across 100% of the page – it would certainly look better if we can please achieve this.

    Hi Helen,

    We have fixed the problem related to banner width.Please check once and reply us.

    We have made change in main stylesheet to fix the problem.If you update the theme then the recent added css will be deleted.So,for permanent fix you need to make the child theme.

    Thanks!

    Sorry – one last thing. Now when I scroll up and down, the logo seems to change size. Any idea why this would happen? Have tried Chrome & Firefox. The customer wants the navy banner to be 68px high too, but I guess I can change this in the css & custom css.
    Thanks so much

    Hi Helen.marengo,

    There is an option in Appearance-> Customzer-> Header Options to stop the resizing.
    For the navy banner height paste the following code in Custom CSS Box in Appearance-> Customize:

    .site-branding {
      height: 68px;
    }
    .site-branding:before {
      height: 68px;
    }
    .site-branding:after {
      height: 68px;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    We will really appreciate if you help us too by rating our theme in WordPress repo here:
