    The site I’m working on is almost done. I successfully made a child theme, added in custom fields to the functions.php, content.php, and content-single.php.

    I styled the CSS to my liking, taking out visibility for author and date of posts.

    But somehow I lost the visibility of categories on each post. I can’t find my mistake!

    Did I do something in the PHP child pages? Is it in the CSS? I’ve gone back and forth to the parent theme, changed my customized CSS, nothing I do can bring back the categories that should appear under the title of each post.

    Hi @maddogmike,

    For showing the category under the title, go to the Appearance > Customize > Additional Options > Post Meta Settings and uncheck the Hide category under post title.
