    Hello,

    We have noticed on our website at www.lexian.com that there is a white blip/glitch over the first picture on the slider. It only appears for a second, and when it moves on to the next picture, it’s fine. This doesn’t happen every time it returns to the first picture, but it does happen the majority of the time when the homepage first loads.

    I have tried using the following code, which solved the issue on my own PC, but did not resolve it on other devices:
    }
    @media screen and (min-width: 1400px) {
    .slider-cycle {
    min-height: 500px;
    }
    }

    Please let me know what we can do to fix this. Thanks!

    Hi, @rick7,
    While checking the site here in desktop and mobile devices, I could see such issue as you mentioned. Maybe I misunderstood the issue. So, could you please try sending a screenshot pointing out the issue if possible?

    Regards,
    ThemeGrill Support Team.

    Hi Ashish,

    I don’t think it will be possible to send a screenshot because the glitch is so fast. One second the slider is white/shows the background of the website behind it. The next second, the slider is showing the first picture.

    Does this help explain?

    @rick7
    Can you try deactivating a plugin related to Lazy Loading and check? If you’re referring to the flicker at the first slide, the plugin might have caused the issue. Also, do you get the same issue you mentioned in our demo site: https://demo.themegrill.com/spacious-pro. I asked as to understand if the issue is in the theme or caused by a plugin you’re using.

    Thanks.

    The issue was happening before we installed Lazy Load, so that probably rules that out.

    We did have the same issue when we tried visiting the demo site.

    Hi @rick7
    We’ll be checking on this in details. As I’m still confused on the actual issue, you can explain it from a video if you don’t mind. If the issue is in our demo too, we might find it and fix in upcoming update of the theme. I’ll update here if I find anything. Thanks for letting us know about this.

    Hi @rick7,

    Can you insert the code mentioned below in the Additional CSS box and check?

    #featured-slider .cycle-slide-active{
        position: static !important;
    }

    Thanks.

    Hi Rajesh,

    Thanks so much for jumping in… that seems to have solved the problem! The only issue we are noticing now is that the text box inside the slider seems to “jump” up and down as the pictures move along. Is there a way to lock the position of the text box, as well?

    Hi, @rick7,
    Please add the following custom CSS:

    #featured-slider .entry-container {
        max-width: inherit;
    }

    If you get any issue later, feel free to ask again! I hope you liked our theme, if so, you can help us by providing a review us here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/spacious/reviews/?filter=5

    Thanks.

    Hi Ashish,

    I tried the code but the text box is still jumping. Do you have any other suggestions we could try?

    Thanks!

    Hi @rick7,
    Please add this CSS:

    @media screen and ( min-width: 768px ) {
        #featured-slider .entry-container {
            min-width: 40%;
        }
    }

    If this still doesn’t work, please send a screenshot marking the issue. 🙂 Thanks.

    Hi Ashish,

    That didn’t work either, unfortunately. I have a video file… how can I share it with you? I do not see an option to upload attachments here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @rick7
    While checking your site from here, I couldn’t see any jumping as shown in the video so can you please try clearing browser cache and check? Also, you can try reducing the transition duration value from Appearance > Customize > Slider > Slider Settings > Slider transition length. Thanks.
