    Hello!

    I’d like to remove the search box and edit the “page not found” page.

    Here is what appears now:
    https://learnparisianfrench.j-ouellette.com/webinar

    I searched “webinar” and I could find pages that otherwise should only be accessible by people AFTER they put in their email address.

    Thanks,
    Llyane

    Please add this in Additional CSS box of Customizer:

    .error-404 .search-wrap {
        display: none;
    }

    Thank you!

    How can I edit that page, though? It shows:

    “It looks like nothing was found at this location. Try the search below.”

    As there’s no search on the page, this blurb doesn’t make sense anymore.

    Thanks,
    Llyane

    It’s on theme’s code. You can translate the text using Loco Translate plugin from WordPress Plugin directory.

    “translate”?
    I don’t need to translate it.
    I need to remove the words “try the search below”
    Thanks,
    Llyane

    It’s not possible to remove “try the search below” text only from CSS code. But you can remove entire paragraph by adding following CSS:

    .error-404 .page-content p {
        display: none;
    }

    I’m making these changes in the free version of the theme.
    I purchased the theme, just didn’t have time to switch.
    Are these changes going to stay after I switch?
    Thanks,
    Llyane

    Hi Llyane
    All the changes will be available after upgrading the theme.

    How to upgrade from Free to Pro theme?

    Though, it’s good to have a backup of your site. So, I suggest you keep a backup of your site using a plugin or other ways:
