Hi guys. My website is www.ineaxprocess.com
How can i made my website width is fixed & not adjustable through zoom in/out? What i want to achieve is fixed width of my website, even if you zoom in and out the text/picture/anything is fixed size.
What i’ve tried was following the solution from this site = https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-do-i-change-fluid-width-theme-to-fixed-width
and it still does not solve my problem.
The problem is, when i view my website from mobile device, the interface become messy. All the fixed picture size does not fit beautifully into my mobile view.
To be exact, i want my website has fixed width like this site : www.ineax.com
Appreciate your help. Thanks.September 10, 2015 at 5:20 am #1194954
Hi Nur Hasif,
Sorry, but there is no feature to make theme not-responsive.
You can delete the all media query in style.css but we don’t recommend it as the changes will lost in version update.
Thank you.September 10, 2015 at 6:52 am #1194976
Can you show me on what/where media part should i remove from style.css in order to achieve that? I might have to do it to make sure my web visitor get a nice view in the mobile devices.
I’ve heard that we can create child theme to prevent our changes being affected when theme was updated. Is that possible? If yes, please show me on how to do it.September 10, 2015 at 11:05 am #1194991
in my opinion the responsive themgrill designs do a good job and are looking very good on most sites.
You want to have a responsive website, you choose a responsive theme but your content is not ready for responsive.
If you put too many pictures in a block ( partners on your site) you will get problems with every responsive design.
The width gets larger than your mobile screen and the picture can not be split in several pictures.
Maybe you can try more or other themgrill widges and reorganize your content to reach your design wishes.

Thank you Frank for you concern/reply.
In this case child theme won’t play good role, as far I know.
