I have two menu items with sub-items on them. On desktop, I can click on the main item and go to a page. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case on mobile. Mobile shows the arrow to access the sub-items, but if I tap on the main entry, nothing happens. Is there a setting I’m missing here? Thank you!January 9, 2018 at 4:56 am #1341022
This might be caused by plugins you’re using.
So, you can try deactivating plugins one by one and check if your issue resolves. Also, if you’ve changed any theme’s file, please revert back. If it still persists, can you provide us URL for your website so that we can inspect it and give you a proper solution?

I’ve checked your site in mobile device and submenu is working perfectly. Can you confirm this? Thanks.January 10, 2018 at 2:05 pm #1341244
Yes… the submenus are working perfectly. The parent item is not working. On desktop, I can click on the parent item to go to a specific page. On mobile, that doesn’t work. The parent items are both linked to specific pages, but I can’t click on those items to go to their pages.January 11, 2018 at 4:31 am #1341304
I’ve checked your site again and found that you need to click two times in order to open the parent link and it seems an issue with our theme. If that is what your issue is, we’ll check and fix in the next update of the theme.
Please keep checking for an update:

I have the same issue with header menu items on mobile. Double click doesn’t work. But all sub items work fine. If a menu header has no sub menu it works fine. Hopefully you can find a fix in an update.January 25, 2018 at 7:54 pm #1343519
Can confirm I’m also having the same problem. Menus work fine on desktop, but you can’t click the parent menu on mobile to access the category archive. But it seems you guys are aware and working on a fix.

I also have the same issue. I think it was since I upgraded the theme. I had it working on the dev version of the site before I upgraded, but it doesn’t work now.February 26, 2018 at 4:30 am #1360563

We tested out your site and the parent menu seems to be working fine. So, maybe check once clearing out your browser cache? Thanks.May 3, 2019 at 12:26 pm #1821626
After seeing this thread, I did some digging. I was using a child theme with some customizations. I had a header.php file in place in the child theme and once I remove that so that it would revert to using the current revision, everything worked as expected. I was unable to figure out exactly what changed in the coding to make it work, but it’s working now. I also wasn’t sure what I changed in the header.php file when I put it in the child theme so that’s a lesson for me to make better notes for myself. Everything seems to be resolved now. Thank you!May 6, 2019 at 3:51 am #1821822
