Hello, first I would like to thank you for the free version of FoodHunt and functionalities that are included. I try to create a website for a pizzeria and I need a static left menu with different categories such as Pizza, Pasta, Starters (i did it with a widget). All categories have subcategories: for example, #Pizza has a list of all available pizza we have. However, when I click on the main category Pizza I am not presented with all subpages(i.e, Pizza Margherita, Pizza Tonno) but with an empty page. So it seems that subcategories work but main Pizza doesn’t. Moreover, is there a way that the left menu stays static all the time? Now when I choose a product to add in the card(pizza Tonno) the menu desires and the only way to see other products is to go back. thanks in advance

    Hi @sfenliva,

Can you provide us with URL to your site so that we can inspect it and give you a proper solution?

    Thanks.

    Hi @sfenliva,

For showing the menu in the single product, can you go to the Appearance > Customize > Design Options and select the Default layout for single post only and click on second icon having the sidebar to the Left. Also, for the category not showing, it seems the URL is incorrect. So, can you go to the Menu you have made and check the URL of the category?

    Thanks.

    Hi Rajesh,

thanks for your answer. I was able to change the menu and now appears on the left side. However, I still have a problem with the URL structure of my categories. How can I change the URL of my category? Should I create a separate page for every category?

    Hi @sfenliva,

First of all copy the URL of the category from the browser which you want to link in the menu. After that, go to the Appearance > Menus in the dashboard. Select the menu which you want to show the category. Use the Custom Links for the menu and paste the URL of the category in the URL section of the custom link in the menu. Click on Save Menu and it should be shown as you desire.

    Thanks.
