    Hi,

    I have added a header image to a page so that the slider style banner remains through-out the site (however without the slider capability on the child pages). When I upload the image to the page as media it pads the image so that there is white space around it.

    Is there a way of removing this?

    Hello, @scottandrewdouglas

    Can you provide us URL of your website so that we can inspect it and give you a proper solution?

    The site is not live at the moment, so there is no link available.

    I basically want the page image to look like the slider on the front page.

    Thanks

    Scott

    So, you want to remove space around header image. If not, please make us clear.
    We need to inspect your site to give you a solution. Can you send us a screenshot of the page with inspect element open at that area?

    Thanks.

    Hi @ashishsthanp,

    On one of the pages I have added the following:

    <img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-47" src="http://adaptable.je/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/banner1.png" alt="" width="1400" height="500" />
    <h1>About</h1>

    This image, is the same size as the image in the scrolling header bar on the business front page, however, when I submit the code the image shows like the screenshot below:

    <img src="screenshot of page” alt=”Screenshot of page” />

    I want the image banner to span the width of the page and not have the white gaps either side.

    Either that, or can I display the scrolling banner on other pages rather than just the business home page?

    Thanks

    Scott

    Making the only one part inside the content to be full width might not be possible at all. Thanks.

    Am I able to do it on the whole page?

    Or can I make the slider from the home page show on other pages? There has to be a solution

    If you can modify the code according to your requirement then, you may be able to achieve that via the child theme. Thanks.

    Hello, @jouellette.tutoring

    You can add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    #header-text-nav-wrap {
        padding-bottom: 0;
    }
    #main {
        padding-top: 20px;
    }

    Also, if you get any issue later, feel free to ask again! We would really appreciate if you could provide us a review here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/spacious/reviews/?filter=5

    Hello!
    Can you please remove the link to my website from this thread?
    I’m getting false traffic from this forum.
    Thank you,
    Llyane
