    You can add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    
    .big-slider .slider-btn {
        display: none;
    }

    Please add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    @media (max-width: 768px) {
        .slider-caption-wrapper .slider-btn i {
            display: none;
        }
        .slider-caption-wrapper .slider-btn {
            padding-right: 10px;
        }
    }

    hm its not working, would it be possible to disable the slider on the phone upright / across completely? and only show it on the tablet / desktop?

    How to reduce the size of the slider from bottom ? I want to put a text box below the slider after reducing its size to almost to 2/3 of what it is now. help !

    You can reduce the size of the slider by making the child theme if you can code on your own. You can create a child theme as instructed below:
