    Hi there,

    I want to be able to change the background of the header bar on my site (withfabricandthreads.com.au) using the Explore theme.

    The current header bar has a black background with white text, though if I go to Appearance/Customise/Colors it shows as a shite backgroun and white text – which I appreciate doesn’t make sense…..

    If I change the header text colour,(under Appearance/Customise/Colors) it changes to whatever colour I choose however, if I try to change the header background color – nothing changes. Even if I try to change it to an irridescent blue 🙂 just to be sure I am changing the right area, nothing changes to irridescent blue.
    How do I change the background color of the header bar if it isn’t in the menu as mentioned above?

    Many thanks

    Bev

    Hello, Bev
    You can add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :

    #header-text-nav-container {
        background: #8d273d;
    }
