    Hello,

    I’m unsure if there’s an option like this in the pro version of ColorMag as I haven’t decided to definitely purchase the pro version yet but is there a way of adding an outline or anyway of making the text stand out from the image in the slider..?

    Emaple Image

    I found this image to help indicate what I’m trying to say but would be happy with any real help or suggestion to make the titles more readable.

    Found Example

    Thank you very much for any response.

    Andy 🙂

    Paste this CSS code in the Custom CSS Box provided through the Customizer Options and see if it helps:-

    .widget_featured_slider .slide-content, .widget_highlighted_posts .article-content {
      background: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) , rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6));
    }

    Thanks.

    Thank you very much, that makes the titles a whole lot more readable..! 😀

    Rather than starting 2 new topics I’m going to ask 2 follow up questions…

    1) How easy is it to move over to the pro version once purchased..? Will I have to set up the anything extra other than the custom CSS part I’ve just added..?

    2) Is it possible in this version and/or the pro version of ColorMag to adjust the width of the whole page and the thumbnail width as a large number of the articles are video related so the smaller “more square” thumbnails are being cut off at the edges..? (Image below.)

    Thank you again for your help so far..!

    Andy 🙂

    The customization works done through the Customizer Options will remain and goes to the pro version of this theme too upon activation of the theme. And for the second query, this requires lots of code customization work, which we could not cover through this forum. Hope you can understand. Thanks.
