    Hi,

I purchased the radiate pro theme and when I set up my home page to be based off of “latest posts” with a max of 5 posts, the home page shows about 40+ posts. I cannot think of a way to fix this. Site: http://bluesunvacay.wpengine.com/

Have you set the number of posts to be displayed in the blog pages through Settings->Reading->Blog pages show at most section? If you have not, then, can you set it from there and check? Also, if it does not work, then, can you check that you have used the plugin to control the number of posts to be displayed in the blog pages? Thanks.

The blog currently has it set to 5 pages to show at most and it still shows 40+ articles on the home page.

What plugin are you talking about specifically? I never received any plugins when I installed the theme? Can you be more specific of where to find it?

Also, the “Summary” isn’t being shown. It’s always the full article that is shown. I found a plugin called “custom posts per page” and that didn’t work either.

This theme displays the content of the post, ie, excerpt is not displayed. So, you might need to follow this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/. And for the display of many post issue in the home page, have you edited the theme file, since you have told us that you are not using any plugin for this? If so, then, please revert back to the original theme code and check. Since, we had checked it on our developing environment and we could not face any such issue. Thanks.

I looked at other themes and the issue still arises. I don’t know what to do at this point and I’m pulling hair out of my head. Is there a way to see if you can see what is wrong? The previous theme that was used was on wordpress.com and the theme didn’t cause this issue so I’m very confused at this point. I looked at setting up a static page to create something like that but the instructions are too complicated since i”m not really a dev. If you can point me int he right direction that would be great.

Have you used any of the shortcode in your site, which causes this issue? If you have, then, can you remove it and check? Also, since we could not know what you are doing in your site, so, in this case, we might be unable to provide you with the required solution on this issue more easily. Thanks.
