    Hi there

    I am using Themegrill Explore theme on both tangledlineart.com.au and withfabricandthreads.com.au

    My understanding is that ‘Explore’ is a responsive theme, however, if I do a Word Press Inspector scan of both sites, it tells me that neither site is responsive.

    I have beed keeping an eye on this over the last several months with the scan results persistently telling me that my sites are not responsive.

    If the theme was created as a responsive theme, is it possible that this component could be ‘lost’ and if so, how do I fix this?

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Hi Nitu

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I am trying to improve the overall performance of my websites tangledlineart.com.au and withfabricandthreads.com.au

    There is an app called WP Inspector that looks at a WP Site and shows overall performance results in various categories.

    When I run both my sites through WP Inspector, they both come up showing a weakness in the ‘Responsive’ categories as can be seen on Page 4 going on to Page 5 of the results documents. I have tried upload the screenshots but I don’t have the option of attaching any documents? When you get back to me, can I send you the screenshots via direct email?

    This is what I am trying to improve and the results I am referencing in my earlier email.

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Hi, Bev.

    Our theme is responsive theme. So, maybe upload the image to the image sites and provide us the link to it to better check as well as the link on site, where you are having the same issue? Thanks.

    Hi Bishal

    If you go to the following link, you type in the URL of the site you want to test.

    https://wordpress.inspector.io

    It isn’t a matter of uploading specific image/s.

    Are you able to email me directly so I can send you screen prints of what I am trying to sort out?

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Bev

    Hi, Bev.

    If you want then, you can email us in team@themegrill.com And when checking our demo here: http://responsivedesignchecker.com/checker.php?url=demo.themegrill.com%2Fexplore&width=1400&height=700 and https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=V6_Uda7V7Z8D1uRN_ABoHQ, you can see that it passed the Mobile Friendly test. So, maybe something is wrong within your site. Thanks.

    Hi Bishal

    Following on from your earlier reply, I have contaced team@themegrill.com (see below email).To date, I have not had a reply. Images showing the problem have been attached to the email to team@themegrill.com

    Following the link provided by yourself in your previous reply email to me, whilst it does say
    that explore is mobile friendly, it also indicates that there are page loading issues.

    This problem is occuring on IOS/Android phones and tablets.

    Could you please follow up on this and advise progress on getting this sorted out.

    Many thanks

    Subject: FW: [ThemeGrill] ? Explore – Responsive Query

    Hi there,

    Referring to the below email, could you please investigate this further.

    In a nutshell, I am trying to improve the overall performance of my two
    websites tangledlineart.com.au and withfabricandthreads.com.au. Both sites
    are written in WordPress.
    When I run a WP Inspector test from this site
    https://wordpress.inspector.io/ it tells me that one of the problems I need
    to sort out is that my theme is not responsive.

    I have attached 6 screen shots of the tangledlineart.com.au website viewed
    on my iphone and ipad (3 images from each). It is clear that this is not
    displaying correctly. It does not scroll all the way to the top and it show
    two ‘menus buttons’ neither of which are functional . If I view that site
    on a desktop, there are no problems.

    If I try to view the withfabricandthreaads.com.au website on my iphone and
    click on the dropdown menu, the menu does not scroll all the way down to the
    bottom – screen shot also attached.

    Could you please assist to sort this out?

    Many thanks

    Regards

    Hi, Bev.

    We replied you on the mail. Can you once check and confirm the same? Thanks.

    Hi Bishal

    I have reviewed the email received (contents copied below)

    I have not installed any plugins to activate two menus.

    I have the same plugins on both sites tangledlineart.com.au and withfabricandthreads.com.au

    The problem with the two menus is only appearing on the tangledlineart.com.au site on mobile devices. There are not two menus on tangledlinelineart.com.au on desktops.

    This problem with the two menus is not a problem that has been created by something I have added to my website. The problem has only been evident in the last month or so and I have not made any changes to my site for the last several months.

    I need this problem to be fixed as it is making the tangledlineart.com.au site useless on mobile devices.

    Thanks

    Bev

    For now, I will follow up on the scrolling issue at a later stage. The menu does scroll, though very slowly, without the addition of the coding provided. Adding the coding makes no difference.

    For the two toggle menu issue, it is not provided via the theme and hence maybe check once on disabling the used plugin in your site? And regarding the scroll issue, if you do not want the sticky option for mobile devices then, can you once try the below CSS code in the Additional CSS box provided via the Customizer Options and check:-
    @media (max-width: 768px) {
    #header-text-nav-container {
    position: relative !important;
    }
    }

    Hi, Bev.

    We checked out your site more than 5 times now and could not replicate the issue. So, maybe try once clearing out your browser cache? Thanks.
