    I’m kind of a beginner, but I looked all over the php files in the Editor and couldn’t find a way to edit the footer. I ended up using a plug-in to edit it, which is very tedious and frustrating. Where can I edit the footer? Also, I would like to float the footer to the center, but the float function doesn’t appear to be the solution.

    Thank you for an awesome theme and any help!

    Hello, @kturis.nav

    You can create a child theme for changing footer:

    Also, if you want to change the design of the footer, we can provide you CSS code if you let us know your site URL.

    Thank you for the response! I know how to change the CSS of the footer, but I can’t figure out how to edit the content of the footer (the actual text displayed in the footer). I will definitely create a child theme today, as it seems to be in my best interest. Love your theme by the way. I’m completely learning WordPress with it 🙂

    To edit footer, copy footer.php file from our theme and paste in the root folder of the child theme and edit the file.

    I tried replacing the Footer file, as suggested and I broke my site! lol, so I’m a little reluctant to try again. the instructions to edit the css and alignment would be awesome. thank you!

    (p.s. I also made the child theme, according to your instructions. Thank you)

    The only thing I’d still like to do is float the footer socket to the center. Can’t quite figure out how to do that. If that’s limited because it’s free, I completely understand. One day (when my ad revenue allows for it), I plan on upgrading some of these things, like themes, hosting, etc. I just can’t do it yet, because I’m disabled and can’t currently work (hence the ads on the site).

    Thanks for all your help!

    Add following code inside Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS or you can add this to your style.css file inside your child theme:

    .footer-socket-wrapper .copyright {
      float: none;
      margin: 0 auto;
    }

    It worked! Thank you so much! Is there an easy way to edit the text of the footer? I had to download a plug-in to do it, and it’s very difficult to use. I can’t find the code to edit the text.

    Thanks!
