Hi, I’m haveing some serious problems installing the demo site of FoodHunt. I’m in a local machine with AMPPS. The first time I tried to install the demo, everything was perfect, but when I tried to install another site with a different theme, I couldn’t see the second site in all My Sites, but if I’d pass by the dashboard I could use both of them. I decided to remove completly AMPPS from my computer and reinstall it. Now I could see both sites in the dashboard, but when it came time to import the demo of FoodHunt, it tell me that the installation failed. Up at the top, it’s telling me to install a plugin for PHP, but once I install it, what do I do from there? Need a little help to be able to install it. Thanks.March 9, 2018 at 6:18 am #1362290
Can you send a screenshot of error/issue during the import? Do you get any error message while importing Foodhunt after plugin installation?

Since it’s showing Internal server error after import failed, the issue seems to be with your hosting provider. Please try these fixes and contact your hosting provider if it doesn’t work.

I went through the fix process and still nothing do you have any other options?March 14, 2018 at 4:41 am #1362897
You can contact your hosting provider and mention the error you’re getting. They might provide you a better solution. If you get any other issue regarding our theme, let us know. Thanks.March 14, 2018 at 1:13 pm #1362960
Like I said in my first post, I installed WordPress on a localmachine (my desktop machine) with AMPPS. The first time I installed the demo Importer everything worked fine. But I wanted to start back at the begging and deleted AMPPS, which deleted all of the demo sites I had put on my computer. I then reinstalled everything again, but could not install the demo. You are always refering me to the knowledge base, but for a Newbie trying to learn, it doesn’t help me to much, especially that it is for a thirdparty hosting company. Can you come back with a solution?

I reached out before posted they increased my hosting PHP specs just as your forum requested but it still does not work.March 15, 2018 at 6:39 am #1363082
Have you tried to modify the ‘php.ini’ file as suggested on the knowledgebase article and restarted the AMPPS to import the theme demo on your local site? If not then, can you do the same once and check? Also, maybe, if you could not do the same then, try to create fresh WordPress install and then import the theme demo? If the theme demo is not imported on first time, do not refresh the page you are viewing and just click on ‘Import’ button again and again until the demo imported successfully? Hope either one of the solution will work out for you. Thanks.
