    Hi there

    In the Explore theme, what is the difference between the Default layout and the Rioght Sidebar layout.

    I have all my post set to the right sidebar Layout but was considering other options, however, I can’t see any difference between post irrespective of whether the lauyout is set to Default or Right Sidebar.

    What is the dfference between these two layouts?

    Many thanks

    Bev

    @Bev

    Default Layout, Right Sidebar Layout? They don’t exist in the theme. You can select the layout via individual post as well as page and via Customize option from Appearance->Customize->Design Options. There, you see different layouts which you can apply within your site. Hope you are clear on this. However, if you are referring to other then, can you provide us any screenshot link to better understand onto it?

    Thanks.

    Hi Nitu

    Yes, I understand that.

    If I set the layout option to ‘Right Sidebar’ it shows as per the image attached.

    If I set the layout option to ‘Default Layout’ it shows exactly the same, as per the attached image.

    What is the difference between these two layouts. I cannot see any difference.

    Many thanks

    Image as per 'Right Sidebar' layout and 'Default Layout' - Exactly the same.

    Hi, Bev.

    If you are referring to ‘Select Layout’ within the post as well as page editor then, the option set within the page/post will get precedence over the customize option, ie, when you select ‘Default Layout’ in that section then, the customize option will take over the layout option for that page else the selected ones within the page ‘Select Layout’ option will display the layout as needed. Hope you are clear on this. Thanks.
