Dear Forum Members,
I am using Spacious Theme Free with a child Theme.
My custom logo isn’t showing up anymore.
It always was there and now it’s disappeared. I tried deleting the old one and setting everything up new and again. I also tried switching Themes and switching back, also disabling plugins – nothing works. The Headline and subheadline shows but not the logo. I used to have only the Custom Logo.
I searched it online and some people had the problem but their solutions didn’t do anything for me.
I am using:

Can you upload and check again whether the logo image appears. And, make sure the option in the Appearance > Customize > Header > Show has header logo chosen.

thank you for your answer. Yes I did all that already. It didn’t work
– I uploaded Logo new
– I choose in both Options to show logo (at the moment I checked the box saying show both, but only the Headline and Sub-Headline appears)
I am grateful for any tip,
Thank youApril 12, 2018 at 5:21 am #1368240
Can you switch to parent theme once and check if the logo is shown. If there is no issue while switching to parent theme then the problem lies in the child theme. So, can you check the code of child theme?
Thanks.April 12, 2018 at 6:49 am #1368248
i have done all that, tried even deleting and re-installing the theme and the child theme. I have switched to the parent theme now, so you can see it is actually the same situation. No Custom Logo.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions,

We’re clueless about what caused the issue. As you’ve tried all the possible fixes, you can create an account for us with a privilege to customizer and send login credential at

While checking your site, there’s some code missing from our theme in
header.phpfile of the theme which seems to have caused the issue. So, can you try uninstalling the Spacious theme and install again?April 16, 2018 at 7:37 am #1368689
thank you. I actually did that before, but uploaded the theme via ftp and overwrote the excisting. This time i deleted the theme and installed it again via the wordpress installer – now it works. I am still wondering how that happened? But anyways everything is working now. thank you a lot for all your effort.April 17, 2018 at 4:05 am #1368796
