I would like the header to size to be smaller. Is there a custom CSS I can add to decrease the size of the header?
Additionally, is there a way to change the size of the service widget photos? What is the size that they should be when set as the featured image?

Can you elaborate more on what header part are you trying to decrease? Elaboration with respect to your site will make much better sense.
The recommended size will be 642px height by 300px width. But you can upload smaller images as well. If you upload bigger image then it will crop to 642*300June 30, 2014 at 6:20 pm #6433
Yes, I would like the header to not be as high. Right now, it takes up too much of the top space. It seems that when I upload anything smaller it goes back to the formatted size.
Here is the link to the site: https://temp.yournyagent.comJuly 4, 2014 at 2:57 pm #6611
Could not open the link https://temp.yournyagent.com/ instead tried the link https://www.yournyagent.com/ and the header image looks all fine. Is the issue still there? The recommended size for the header image is 1268 pixels if you are using the 1218 boxed layout setting as your site layout.July 4, 2014 at 3:04 pm #6613
We would like the entire heading area smaller (in height particularly), as it seems to take up a lot of space on the page.
I can try decreasing the size of the image to see if that will help. It just seems no matter what size I upload it still goes to the size that is showing.
Also, can you address the issue of changing the size of the Service widget photos on the home page. I would like them to be more of a square size.
thank you for your help.July 4, 2014 at 3:25 pm #6616
For the header image. Try adding the image size of 1268 pixels in width and the height as you like. If this also does not help, I will provide you the custom css to set the height directly via custom css.
For the service widget try adding the image size of 300 X 300 pixels.July 4, 2014 at 3:28 pm #6617
When you say “adding” do you mean uploading the images as this size?July 4, 2014 at 3:55 pm #6620

Gus, Hello man!
If it’s not a secret, how did you add the separate line in your theme? (
<div class=”omsc-divider omsc-border-small omsc-style-icon-center omsc-custom-color” style=”color:#ad1527″><div class=”omsc-divider-icon”><i class=”fa fa-home”></i></div></div>) Is there any plugin for this feature? Thank you. It looks stunning!
Sanjip, maybe you know about this?:)
I’m sorry, I’m not in the right subject…(July 11, 2014 at 4:48 pm #7050
Can you make more clear about which separate line you are referring? If you could provide the link and the exact part where you see this, I will have a look and see if I can help.July 11, 2014 at 5:02 pm #7052
Sure:) Just here for example (Above the text “NOTE – The typical time-frame from finding an apartment to closing is 3-5 months – so it’s good to get prepared early!”) It’s a red line with a house icon in the centre… I really like this!July 11, 2014 at 5:04 pm #7054
Sorry, the separate line situated below the text “Note – The typical…” etc.July 11, 2014 at 5:10 pm #7056
