Hello Themegrill Team
i got 2 Weeks ago my first theme from themgrill. Colormag was my first tryout here. My biggest problem till now is the author and dates shown in the index and the postings. I read here and found this code witch i addet to the css as providet in other posts here.
This code fixed visual all problems on the site but in the code i have now 180 times my login name and 170 times dates
Is there any way to remove this code over the layouteditor.
Regards and thanks in advance for the Support

If you can code on your own then, you can achieve it via the child theme.
Thanks.February 12, 2019 at 11:19 am #1405909

Hi. Go to plugins and search something like Author and Data Remover Plugin. I’ve used it in the past and it worked. GreetingsFebruary 15, 2019 at 2:11 am #1406204
Thanks i tryed that but all plugins are not function. At the moment this Probleme cause DC in Google. I just fixed that problem with a 301 redirect
@Nitu Sorry but this 100 hundrets of authorlinks are a mistake from the orignal producer and i am not willing to pay 200-1000 Bucks for a homemade problem. Its great to get that layout for free but to pay huge amount for fixing home made problems is not my thingFebruary 15, 2019 at 10:39 am #1406253
Regarding the display of the author in your site, it is needed for Google Webmaster Tools for knowing on who posted the posts in the site. And if you use any of the theme available via any means, you will probably see that each of the theme will display the author when used in your site and if disabled too, it is done via CSS code and hence the details remains, which is necessary for Google Webmaster Tools as stated before. So, it is probably not the theme issue. Hope you have got it and is clear on this. Thanks.February 15, 2019 at 10:57 am #1406257

Then too, removing the traces completely is probably not possible. However, we will have discussion on this with our team and see about what can be done within theme update. So, thank you for your patience and understanding onto it. Thanks.
